A user on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumourssubreddit made some claims about the new game, saying that there was a trailer that was scrapped due to development issues.

The Redditor noted: “I can’t reveal who I am for obvious reasons and so like most things you hear, you can take it with a grain of salt if you must! There was supposed to be a trailer ready for the game awards but it was pulled at the last second for Hogwarts Legacy because it didn’t make the game look too good. 

“It revealed too much of the live service features and it made too many people nervous so they pulled it. There have been talks of releasing a new revamped trailer but people are still nervous.”
