Hermann slides to overall World Cup glory
Germany's Tina Hermann slid to a first overall World Cup gold in seven years during a highly contested season finale in Latvia. The 30-year-old pipped Britain's Laura Deas to gold in the final race of the season to grab her first overall title since 2016.
Ad Hermann finished 0.05 seconds ahead of Deas in a combined time of 1:43.65 with Belgium's Kim Meylemans grabbing bronze.
