Henry Cejudo thinks Nate Diaz could 'dabble' in WWE

Henry Cejudo has suggested that former UFC fighter Nate Diaz could test himself in the world of professional wrestling with WWE.

Following his submission win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, Nate Diaz has been enjoying the first week of being a free agent. After many, many years of being on the books with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he’s seemingly ready to test the waters with something new – whether it be in boxing, jiu-jitsu or perhaps a different mixed martial arts promotion.

Whatever the case may be, the overwhelming expectation is that Diaz will be paid handsomely regardless of where he goes, largely because of the star power he possesses and has built for himself with the UFC.

It’s not like his time with the company came without a certain level of drama, but above it all, it truly did feel like he was there to fight and prove that he’s one of the best in the game.

The Stockton king clearly has the kind of natural charisma you just can’t manufacture but in equal measure, he doesn’t come across as someone who would be particularly interested in pro wrestling or anything associated with it.

Alas, you can never say never, especially when it comes to WWE.

Diaz was recently photographed with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at a WWE event and in an interview, his fellow UFC star Henry Cejudo hinted that the squared circle could be in Nate’s future.

“I just saw Nate Diaz over at the WWE, I saw him in the restroom. He was high as a kite, dude, so was I! He’s hilarious. He’s looking to dabble into WWE, so, make money. You’ve got to use the brand that the UFC has given you and all these other platforms, and continue to make money and be an entrepreneur.”
