Helping you reduce your energy bills - fully funded home upgrades available across the North West

As of April 1, the ECO4 Flex scheme was launched across the North West of England, offering homeowners and renters alike the opportunity to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes without having to provide any contribution to the costs.

The scheme is designed to help the UK reach its net zero carbon emissions by 2050 target, and to help the general public reduce their energy bills while also improving the comfort of their homes.

Improveasy are an ECO funding specialist based in Altrincham. They are administering the scheme on behalf of Manchester City Council, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, and Trafford Borough Council.

Having delivered similar schemes across Carlisle and Cheshire local authority areas last year, Improveasy helped qualifying customers save over £350,000 off their energy bills and prevented 500 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere*.

To be eligible for the ECO4 Flex scheme your home must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E, F, or G and your combined household income must be £31,000 or less.

If you do not meet the income threshold, there are still many pathways to the funding available. For example, if your child receives free school meals, if you are elderly, if you are pregnant, or if you are struggling to pay your bills you may still be eligible for fully funded home improvements.
