Hector Bellerin: Reporter called Arsenal man a 'hipster' after not recognising him at 2018 Grand Prix
Martin Brundle’s grid-walk before the Miami Grand Prix was so chaotic it went viral.
The Sky Sports presenter raced around trying to chat with some of the world’s biggest celebrities, to varying success.
There was an incredibly awkward moment where Brundle mistook college basketball player, Paolo Banchero, for NFL star, Patrick Mahomes.
Banchero isn’t the only person that Sky Sports presenters haven’t recognised at a Grand Prix, though.
Hector Bellerin was present at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2018.
The right-back, who had just finished the 2017/18 season with Arsenal, was seen chatting to model Winnie Harlow.
That’s when Martin Brundle interrupted them. The Sky Sports presenter appeared to not recognise Bellerin and instead only had the intention of speaking to Harlow.
“Do you mind if I cut in, talking to this beautiful lady, would you be terribly offended?” He said to Bellerin, who obliged.
Later in the day, Bellerin was not recognised again by Ted Kravitz.
With the cameras focusing on Bellerin, Kravitz said: “Some hipsters around here with shaved hair and shorts and cool rose-coloured glasses.
“He looks quite cool, that guy in the singlet, doesn’t he? Right, sorry, I got distracted by the hipsters.”
