'He's the one' - Journalist claims Marsch has player who can 'save Leeds'

Journalist David Anderson has claimed that Raphinha has been the shining light for Leeds this season and he’s the one that can save them from relegation.

Raphinha signed for Leeds from Stade Rennais in 2020 and he has been a standout performer in the side since, after scoring 16 goals and registering 12 assists in 65 games in all competitions.

Leeds have been poor this season in the Premier League, they currently sit in the bottom three with just two games left to play, but Raphinha has been in fine goal-scoring form, he has scored 10 goals and registered three assists in 33 Premier League games.

“Whether it’s providing assists, scoring the goals or unlocking defences – he’s the one that can save Leeds,” Anderson said.

The Brazilian winger has been linked with a move away from Elland Road in the summer, with Barcelona showing interest, and it is almost certain that he would leave the club if they do lose top-flight status.

Leeds could be in a lot worse position if it wasn’t for Raphinha this season, their second top scorer is Jack
