“I hate to say it but Arsenal looked very, very good [against Watford],” Sheringham told Lord Ping (via Metro).

“They’re coming into form at the right moment. I know they were playing against one of the bottom teams in the division, but the way they controlled the ball, took the game to Watford yesterday, they scored three and could’ve had more.

“They were very, very impressive.

“So if you asked me now to chuck some money on a team finishing fourth, Arsenal would be my pick.

“I see the Arsenal players all rolling in the same manner at the moment whereas there’s friction at Manchester United, West Ham have got a tough end to their season and Tottenham are not combining on a regular occurrence, so it would be tough for all those teams [to finish fourth].”
