Has Celtic’s injury crisis thrust the momentum in Rangers’ favour ahead of first derby of the season? Saturday Jury

MICHAEL GANNON: Mixed at best. Hibs can forget it. Aberdeen can finish the job and I’ve got a sneaky feeling Rangers will do a number on PSV again. Hearts shouldn’t give up hope but it’s a tall order.

GORDON PARKS: It'll be tough for Rangers to win in Holland, lightning can strike twice but I wouldn't bet on it. Hibs were out before a ball was kicked and Hearts are unlikely to get the win they need in Greece but Aberdeen should be a shining light by doing the business at home.

FRASER WILSON: Aberdeen are in the driving seat after their impressive fightback against Hacken. Rangers will score in Eindhoven but can they keep PSV out? I reckon they’ll squeeze through with a monumental performance. But the lights have already gone out for Hibs in a mismatch with Villa and PAOK will be too strong for Hearts in Greece.

MICHAEL: It’s shocking but it’s also the truth. Celtic are heading into the last week of the window without a single upgrade signing on last season’s squad and now they’ve been battered by injuries.

GORDON: It's refreshing in its honesty but he's not daft. it's a message to his board rather than anything else and he's also spot on.

FRASER: A loud and clear message to the board to get the cheque book out in the final week of the window. The defence looks to be in tatters and there’s no doubt Celtic are behind where they were just a few months ago.

MICHAEL: Very much so. Rangers have taken time to settle but their new players have had more time to find their feet. Celtic will be patchwork and likely feature some debutants. This is a huge opportunity for the Ibrox men.
