Harry Kane rips up Bundesliga record books as Bayern Munich star in range of smashing 'unbreakable' number

Harry Kane secured a spot in Bayern Munich history books after becoming the first player to score FOUR hat-tricks in his debut season.

The Bundesliga giants hammered Mainz 8-1 with the England skipper grabbing another treble in the thumping victory. The big win helped Kane and Co close the gap on Bayer Leverkusen at the top to seven points - ahead of their game with Wolfsburg on Sunday as they bid to re-establish their 10 point advantage over the German champions.

Despite leaving at the end of the season, boss Thomas Tuchel is adamant that his team won't give up on winning their 12th consecutive title. and with Kane in top form, they still have a chance. This puts Robert Lewandowski's single-season record of 41 league goals within Kane's reach, with nine games still to go.

Tuchel said: "I believe he can do everything. He's doing what he's always done, throughout his career. He's a role model, a great personality, a top player. It's a gift to be his coach.", reports the Mirror. "He's proving week in, week out, that it was the right decision to sign him."

Bayern's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer added: "We know he can finish well with both feet and his head. He just has that feeling [for goal]. And he works for the team."

Harry Kane was on fire for Bayern, scoring three times in their big win. He got two goals before the break and added another later on. Leon Goretzka scored twice too, and Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry, and Jamal Musiala all found the net. After the match, Goretzka said: "Today was a convincing win and we've often missed that this
