Harry Kane revealed he knew which way Aaron Ramsdale would dive as he sent the Arsenal keeper the wrong way with his penalty kick.
Tottenham secured a vital three points in the north London derby as Kane's brace sealed a 3-0 victory for Antonio's Conte men. Kane opened the scoring for Spurs from the spot-kick after Cedric fouled Son Heung-min. The England star, who typically goes to his left with penalties, went to the opposite side.
Kane revealed at full-time that he knew Ramsdale would dive to his right because he has taken a few against him in England training.
He said: "I haven't been to that side for a while, my regular side is to my left but I've practiced them in training all week and like to go where I'm feeling good, and that was the better one today. I've obviously taken a few against Aaron for England in training so I thought he was going to go the way he did."
Arsenal knew a win would have secured them Champions League football but now Spurs are hot on their tails as they close to gap to a single point. And Kane was delighted with his side's dominant performance and hailed the atmosphere inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as one of the best he's ever experienced.
