Kane's tally of 50 in 71 games is fewer than Neymar (74), Lewandowski (90), Messi (107) and Ronaldo (114), highlighting just how great the Tottenham forward has been for his country. Kane's 50 goals match the combined total of the rest of his current England team-mates, as he continues to dominate on the international stage.

But Kane will be eyeing up another England record, and he could break it before the start of the Premier League season. Wayne Rooney will be wondering how long he will remain as England's all-time record goal scorer, as Kane begins to close in on a new record.

Rooney managed 53 goals during his England career, but a hat-trick will see Kane match that tally, with so much still left to offer for his country. Kane could hang up his boots as the Premier League top scorer as well as the leading striker for England.
