Harry Byrne, Ryan Baird and Rónan Kelleher return to Leinster training
Leinster have received a triple injury boost ahead of their return to BKT United Rugby Championship action with Harry Byrne, Ryan Baird and Rónan Kelleher all set to return to training this week.
Byrne has yet to feature this season due to a hamstring injury but the out-half could make his first appearance when Glasgow Warriors visit the RDS on Saturday, live on RTÉ1 and RTÉ Player.
Kelleher has recovered from the hamstring problem that ruled him out of Ireland's autumn Tests while Baird has completed his return-to-play protocols after suffering a concussion.
Ireland internationals Jordan Larmour and James Lowe are also set to step up their rehabilitation this week from foot and calf injuries respectively.
Ireland captain Johnny Sexton will be assessed after his late withdrawal from the Australia game due to a calf injury, while Leinster reported no fresh injury concerns after their win over Chile.
Meanwhile, former Leinster and Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt will be in attendance for the Glasgow game as members of the province’s Heineken Cup-winning squads of 2011 and 2012 will be celebrated at half-time.
Watch Leinster v Glasgow Warriors in the BKT United Rugby Championship on Saturday from 2.40pm on RTÉ1 and RTÉ Player.
