Harrington claims another victory on Champions Tour
Padraig Harrington earned his second PGA Tour Champions win of the season with a three-stroke victory at the DICK's Sporting Goods Open in New York.
Beginning his final round one stroke behind 2003 Masters champion Mike Weir, Harrington fired a five-under final round of 67, with birdies on 2, 3, 9, 11 and 12.
The Dubliner smoothly navigated the closing stretch to wind up on 16-under par for the tournament, three clear of Weir and Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee.
Harrington, who won his first senior major at the US Senior Open in June, has two wins and four second-place finishes in just 10 events on the Tour this season.
He subsequently narrowly missed out on a second major, finishing runner-up to Darren Clarke at the Senior Open Championship at Gleneagles in July.
