Haribo fans rush out to B&M after spotting new sweet flavours in stores

Good news, Haribo fans.

B&M shoppers have spotted a new flavour that's bound to tantalise tastebuds across the country. The confectioner has released a new set of ice cream flavoured sweets in a pack called 'Soopa-Hoopla'

The product was shared on the New Foods UK Instagram page – and it's safe to say people were excited. The popular account's post read: "New Ice Cream Haribo from @bm_stores Flavours include Raspberry Ripple, Bananaberry, Lemon Swirl, Rhubarb & Custard and Strawberry Cream!!"

The sweets, new for summer 2024, include five different "ice cream flavour" gummies in each pack. These are raspberry ripple, bananaberry, lemon swirl, rhubarb & custard and strawberry cream.

These nostalgic flavours have gone down a treat with customers – as many appear to be rushing out to buy them. In response to the post, one shopper gushed: "These sound nice". And another simply said: "Decent".

The new product has received an equally warm reception on Facebook, where one fan said: "These look good to try" and another commented: "Sooo nice."

Haribo was founded on December 13, 1920, by Hans Riegel in Bonn, Germany. The company's name is an acronym derived from "Hans Rigel Bonn." Haribo is best known for its invention of the gummy bear, and it has since become one of the world's largest manufacturers of gummy and jelly sweets.

Other popular products include Tangfastics – a sour version of gummy candy that includes fizzy cola bottles, sour cherries, and other tangy-flavored shapes – and Starmix – a mix of various Haribo favorites, including gummy bears, rings, cola bottles, fried eggs, and heart-shaped foam candies.
