Halo Infinite Update Gives A Closer Look at Season 2 Changes

Halo Infinite developers 343 Industries recently published their Season 1 Outcomes Report – Live, and it contains some brand new information for Season 2: Lone Wolves.

The report itself covers 343’s Live Team’s responsibilities and how they are implementing the feedback that the community has provided so far.

Things like the season 2 battle pass, customisation and progression are mentioned and the developers have revealed how they will be changed for the upcoming season when it releases on Tuesday 3rd May 2022.

Those who love the game will want to know exactly what these changes are, and we have revealed all of them down below.

Battle Pass & Progression

The update mentions how the free version of the battle pass for season 2 will have more customisation than the first. This became an issue among gamers upon its release. There is also the mention of weekly challenges being improved for players to feel more rewarded and incentivised to complete them.

The ultimate rewards, which can be claimed when every weekly challenge is completed, will also see improvements with rewards becoming more sought after with items such as visors, coatings, and stances. This means that emblems and backdrops will be removed from ultimate rewards through season 2.

Shop

Although not much is mentioned about Halo Infinite’s in-game shop, what is mentioned is that items will have more consistent value. This means that players will get more bang for their buck so to speak which is something that was a heavy topic of controversy during season 1 and something that 343 had promised to remedy throughout the game’s life.

Also mentioned is the rotation of items in the store, with 343 claiming they will increase the rate in which items cycle throughout
