Halo Infinite: New DMR weapon coming soon, per leaks

Halo Infinite could have a new DMR weapon coming soon, according to a new leak.

As reported by Gamespot, the Halo Leaks Twitter account claims that the M392 Bandit is set to come to Halo Infinite in the near future.

The M392 DMR (designated marksman rifle) was first released in 2010’s Halo Reach.

It was subsequently seen in both Halo 4 and Halo 5 but has been absent from Halo Infinite since its launch, to the dismay of some fans.

However, it now appears that it could be on its way if the new leak is to be believed.

There are a variety of precision weapons that can be found in Halo Infinite, including the Battle Rifle and the Commando Rifle.

There is no sign that the gun is going to be added soon, with Infinite’s current season set to run until November.

It could be that the DMR is added with the coming season over the Christmas period, or it may be that it is added into the current rotation.

Halo Leaks also claim that there could be a pump-action shotgun coming at some point too.

Infinite, of course, replaced the game’s iconic pump-action with an automatic shotgun called the Bulldog.

The pump-action has been present in every Halo game from 1-5 and in both Reach and 3: ODST.

However, it could now be on its way to Infinite.

Again, there is no sign yet of a release date for the gun, but it could well be coming in the next season, although that is a fair amount of time to wait.

The next season comes five months from now, so speculation is likely to continue.

We’ll keep you updated as and when we get confirmation of their release into the game; as it stands, these are unsubstantiated leaks.
