'Gutted' - Birmingham City fans react as Lee Bowyer set for talks with chairman

Birmingham City fans have been reacting to the news that boss Lee Bowyer is set for talks with the hierarchy at the club to discuss his future at St Andrew's.

The Blues boss signed a two-and-a-half year contract in March 2021, meaning he still has 16 months left on his current deal, but speculation has grown that his final game in charge of the club could be this weekend against Blackburn Rovers.

And the 45-year-old is expected to hold talks with club chairman Wenqing Zhao this Monday to discuss his immediate future at the club, as Blues start their preparations ahead of the 2022/23 Championship season.

Following the news surrounding Bowyer, many Blues fans took to social media to give their opinion on the current situation surrounding their manager, with many backing the man currently at the helm.
