Green Brigade land Chilean shirt tribute as Celtic fan group a key message behind CD Palestino third kit

Club Deportivo Palestino have launched a green and white hooped kit with the name 'Green Brigade'.

The Chilean club have made the third shirt available for purchase and it has a very similar look to the current home top of Scottish champions Celtic. Palestino are based in Santiago and it would seem that the support for the ultras group stretches across the globe with no real natural connection between the Hoops and Chile.

It's been a season of fall outs and drama off the park with Celtic suspending season tickets of the Green Brigade and withdrawing their away day allocation with the supporter group missing a number of matches. The group and Scottish Premiership champions went back and forth in a war of words with both releasing statements before coming to agreement on allowing them back in late last year. Palestino play in the Primera division in Chile and will also play in the Copa Libertadores with a second round clash with Portuguesa on the horizon.

Last season they finished fourth in their domestic league – eight points behind league winners Huachipato. Supporters can purchase the shirt HERE.
