SummerSlam 2022 is a matter of days away, so what better way to gear up for the WWE’s iconic summer event by remembering some iconic moments throughout the years.

Featuring the likes of The Undertaker, The Rock, John Cena and Brock Lesnar, the event has always delivered entertainment and shocks of the highest order.

WWE’s official YouTube channel has compiled a list of the top 20 moments at the event over the years, with some iconic moments we’d love to go back and experience for the first time.

20. Batista beats John Cena

Kicking off the list, who could forget the iconic moment when Batista defeated John Cena – what a way to kick off this list.

19. The New Day start record breaking title reign

The New Day won the tag-team title in incredible fashion, followed by a dance session that fans will remember for years to come.

18. The Undertaker beats his imposter

The Deadman is arguably the most iconic Superstar of all time, so to see people imitate him is no surprise. However, seeing him go head-to-head with and imposter was incredible, with ‘Taker unsurprisingly winning after tombstone piledriving the wannabe.

17. Becky Lynch beats Bianca Belair in 26 seconds

Becky Lynch stunned Bianca Belair and all spectators, flooring her after a sly attack to win the SmackDown Women’s title in a matter of seconds.

16. The Ultimate Warrior surprises Honky Tonk Man

It would be hard going to have any iconic WWE list without The Ultimate Warrior. He savagely defeated Honky Tonk Man after a shock challenge to make history.
