Gqeberha bound! VW Motorsport heads home to light up third round of 2022 GTC Championship

The third round of the 2022 GTC championship takes place in Gqeberha this coming weekend.

For Volkswagen Motorsport, the event's venue, Aldo Scribante Racetrack, is seen as a spiritual home.

Volkswagen has had a tough start to the 2022 season.

The third round of the 2022 GTC (Global Touring Cars) Championship takes to the Aldo Scribante Racetrack in Gqeberha. The GTC is the premier racing series in South Africa and looks to astound the expected crowd.

The return to Aldo Scribante is important for Volkswagen Motorsport, who see the event as their home race. The team's drivers, Daniel Rowe and Jonathan Mogotsi, will take to the track in their race-ready Golf 8 GTIs.

The race will take place on Saturday, 28 May.

Jonathan Mogotsi: "Aldo Scribante is an all-time favourite of mine and will always be special as it's the home of Volkswagen.

Mike Rowe, Head of Volkswagen Motorsport: "Volkswagen Motorsport heads to
