'Goosebumps!' - Manchester United fans sent wild by Erik ten Hag front three vs Wolves

Manchester United kick off their 2023/24 Premier League campaign at home to Wolves this evening and Erik ten Hag has named an exciting front three.

The Dutchman led United to third in the Premier League last season, achieving his main objective of securing Champions League football. He also ended a six-year trophy drought with the Carabao Cup triumph in February.

United kick off the new campaign with three new signings, although only two are available from the off. Rasmus Hojlund is absent for the next few weeks after a back issue was picked up during his medical.

The other two summer arrivals, Mason Mount and Andre Onana, will make their competitive debuts after being picked to start by Ten Hag.

Mount was brought in as competition for Christian Eriksen and the former Chelsea man has been given the nod. He starts alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in a strong midfield three, the latter leading his side out at Old Trafford for his first competitive match as club captain.

Onana starts behind the settled central defensive pairing of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, with Luke Shaw retaining his spot at left-back as Tyrell Malacia is still injured. The major defensive question is at right-back with Ten Hag opting to start the more defensively solid Aaron Wan-Bissaka over Diogo Dalot.
