Gogglebox stars The Malones eat at 'rudest restaurant in Manchester' and get full sweary treatment

They're everyone's favourite Manc Gogglebox family, but even the genial Malones were not spared the full-on sweary treatment at Greater Manchester's "rudest restaurant". The Malones headed to the most-talked about new restaurant opening of the year Karen's Diner - where guests get the "full Karen" treatment from rude staff.

And yes, Channel 4 stars The Malones were treated no differently. Sharing a video of their excruciating but hilarious experience on Instagram and TikTok from inside the Prestwich restaurant, fans were loving it.

Tom Malone Jr shared the video, taking his mum Julie and dad Tom Sr to the very bold new diner based on Prestwich 's Bury New Road. And dad Tom is shown looking at his son and saying: "Where have you brought me? The ***** this ****ing thing?" as the insults from waiting staff began to unfold.

In the video, their waitress is seen introducing herself in the forthright Karen's Diner way. She said: "Alright the Malone family. I know you're on telly and everything yeah but I'm not treating you any different, you're all s****".

Tom senior chuckled: "Thank you very much best compliment I've had all day." They are all seen wearing offensive slogan hats as they sat in the retro-styled diner which has been getting huge amounts of interest since launching in Prestwich last month.

Waiting staff sang a delightful version of Happy Birthday to Julie, adding plenty of swear words along the way. Even "hip hip hooray" was delivered with colourful language and offensive gestures.
