Goalkeeper James Califf retires from Louth duty after 14 seasons
Louth manager Ger Brennan has confirmed that long-serving goalkeeper James Califf has stepped away from inter-county football.
Califf made 62 appearances for the Wee County over 14 seasons, with his final championship outing coming in the All-Ireland series drubbing at the hands of Kerry last summer.
The 33-year-old was also part of the minor backrroom team lastb year, but after discussisng his future plans with new manager Brennan, he has decided to hang up the inter-county boots.
