Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh says she's 'so proud' as she gives family update mid-tour

Kimberley Walsh has heaped praise on her young son after leaving him while embarking on Girls Aloud's first tour in 11 years.

The singer reunited with Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts to commemorate the life of Sarah Harding, who died in 2021 aged 39 after her battle with cancer. The four-piece, famed for hits including The Promise and Sound of the Underground, are in the middle of a 15-date UK tour.

Their run started off in Dublin at the 3Arena on May 18 and has included three nights at Manchester's AO Arena. The tour finishes up in Liverpool at the M&S Bank Arena on June 29.

Taking to Instagram, Kimberley shared an update on her family life with fans. Posting black and white photo of herself holding her three-year-old son Nate, she penned: "So proud of how this one is dealing with me being away. I have never left my boys for more than a night or two and little Nay Nay has being the most clingy of them all so this tour was daunting for me in that respect."

She added: "Thankfully he’s getting all grown up now he’s 3 and dealing with it was better than I could have ever imagined... He’s going with the flow and being a proper little trooper".

Kimberley is married to former Triple 8 star Justin Scott. The pair first started dating 13 years ago and tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Barbados in January 2016. The pair share three sons together: Bobby, nine, Cole, seven, and three-year-old Nate.
