Gio van Bronckhorst in Rangers suspension tightrope vow as he provides Ryan Kent update

Defiant Gio van Bronckhorst insists he has no fear over fielding some of his top Rangers stars amid the risk of Europa League suspension.

The Scottish champions take a comfortable 3-0 lead to Serbia ahead of Thursday's clash with Red Star Belgrade.

It would take a monumental collapse as the Marakana to see the home side reach the Europa League last eight, but the Rangers boss does not intend to shake up his squad.

Record European goalscorer Alfredo Morelos leads a hosts of top names who could miss the next round if they receive another booking.

Joe Aribo, Fashion Sakala, and John Lundstram will also walk a tightrope against Red Star.

Speaking ahead of the clash, the Ibrox boss said: Obviously when you play so many games in Europe you will have players one yellow card away from suspension but this won't impact our approach selecting our team and is the same for everyone.

"We will take our strongest eleven possible and do everything to win this tie."

There was positive news over Ryan Kent after he limped off in the Scottish Cup win over Dundee.

The winger will be fit for the Europa League clash with Steven Davis and Ianis Hagi the only players missing from the Rangers ' squad.

Van Bronckhorst added: "Only two players not available with injury, Hagi and Davis. We still have to train before we travel. We have a big squad to take with us to face a strong opponent.

"We can expect an opponent who will do everything to overcome last week, for us it starts all over again."
