Gio van Bronckhorst and the mystery Rangers chance Dutch coaching veteran turned down

Former Dutch national team boss Dwight Lodeweges has revealed he could have joined Gio van Bronckhorst at Rangers if he'd wanted to.

That move surprised some in Holland who felt Lodeweges should be working at a higher level given his pedigree and experience.

Dutch outlet VP say Lodeweges was referring to his wife, who is currently recovering in hospital after an accident.
