Gini Wijnaldum suffers PSG 'nightmare' as James Milner sent Liverpool contract message
Your Liverpool morning digest for Monday, February 21.
The former Liverpool midfielder endured another night to forget as his difficult start to life with PSG continued.
Wijanldum was left out of the line-up to face Real Madrid on Tuesday but was handed an opportunity to earn a starting berth for the return leg by starting Paris' league game against Nantes on Saturday.
However, the match did not go to plan as the Ligue 1 leaders crashed to a 3-1 defeat with the Holland international also giving away a penalty.
Having been an integral part of the Liverpool side that won both the Champions League and Premier League, Wijnaldum is yet to reach his previous heights with PSG - and his latest performance was slammed by French media.

Danny Mills believes Milner will be willing to take a pay cut to extend his time at Liverpool beyond this season.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the club are in talks with the veteran midfielder over a new contract with his current deal running out in the summer.
The 36-year-old has made 275 appearances for Liverpool since arriving on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2015.
And his former Leeds United team-mate Mills is confident that any new contract will be on reduced wages - if Milner is happy with his current role and does not wish to find more game time elsewhere.
