Getzlaf, Nurse, Subban named finalists for King Clancy
Anaheim Ducks centre Ryan Getzlaf, Edmonton Oilers defenceman Darnell Nurse and New Jersey Devils defenceman P.K. Subban were named the three finalists for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, the league announced on Friday.
The annual award is presented to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community. The award winner is selected by a committee of senior NHL executives led by Commissioner Gary Bettman and Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly.
