'Get Ange f****** gone' - Furious Tottenham fans unload after Arsenal defeat as boss gets spiky over familiar criticism

Tottenham fans have unloaded on Ange Postecoglou online after defeat to Arsenal as he told a reporter 'I didn't say that' over a familiar criticism of the former Celtic boss.

The Spurs gaffer watched on as his side lost out on home turf in the North London derby with maximum points and the bragging rights heading back to the Emirates with Mikael Arteta and his troops. The one-time Hoops gaffer has often been widely praised for his fast-paced attacking approach - known to many as 'Angeball'. It's a method he has adopted through his career but he has fallen for some stick after a derby day defeat.

One punter posted online: "Ange Postecoglou is simply out of his depth at this level end of conversation. Get him f****** gone." Speaking post-match, Ange conceded: "It is disappointing. You want to win these games for a number of reasons. It has been the tale of our season so far in terms of dominating possession and creating chances but if you don't take them - especially against good teams - you are always going to get punished. We switched off for a moment and got punished."
