Genshin Impact Nintendo Switch: Developers Reveal if Port is Still in Development

Genshin Impact players have been waiting a long time for the game to come to Nintendo Switch, and we finally have some good news on that front!

The original trailer for the Switch port of the game was released way back in January 2020, and up until now, there has not been a huge amount revealed about the game coming to the Nintendo console.

There has been a lot of confusion from the Genshin Impact player base as to whether miHoYo had decided to scrap plans for another console release alongside PS4, but they have now made their plans clear!

Website GoNintendorecently revealed that they had reached out directly to miHoYo about the highly anticipated release of the game on the Switch.

The company confirmed to the site that: “The Switch version is still in development, and we will release more information as we progress further along.”

Gamers on the Nintendo-dedicated site have been reacting to the news, with many happy that the port is still being worked on.

One player noted: “That’s good to hear! I want to return to the game at some point, so a Switch version would be a motivating reason to do so.”

Another gamer however would make an interesting point regarding the timed events that have come and gone in the game and how Switch players will be lagging behind massively as and when the title is released on the console.
