Genshin Impact 2.7 Update Livestream: Speculation on Date of Event

Genshin Impact 2.7 Update is expected to be released into the game on Wednesday, May 11th 2022, and there is now speculation on when the Livestream will be taking place for the latest iteration of the title.

There has been speculation that the 2.7 Update could be delayed following issues with development.

Whilst these have not been confirmed, fans are hoping that the expected Livestream for the Update will give more information ahead of its implementation into the game.

Noted Genshin Impact leaker account @SaveYourPrimos recently took to social media to discuss the latest on the Livestream.

They wrote: “[Speculation] We have heard no word to the contrary, so Livestream /should/ be this Friday April 29th [NA], with an official announcement within the next 24 hours.”

It has not yet been confirmed by miHoYo if this will be the case, but we’re hoping for confirmation at some point in the near future.

Fans have been reacting to the update from SaveYourPrimos, with many expecting that the Livestream could be delayed.

One noted: “If the announcement doesn’t show up within 24hrs, we’ll know it’s been delayed. What I’m really wondering about is if there really will be an announcement during it, confirming whether or not 2.7 is being delayed. They still haven’t addressed those odd dates for the merch event.”

Another wrote: “Rip Kazu. But I hope they extend things so they can all recover from the situation in Shanghai.”
