Gemma Atkinson supported as she says 'we're going to be ok' after family's 'clear message' over loss

Gemma Atkinson has told fans that she and her family are 'going to be ok' as she shared how she was sent a 'clear message' after suffering two heartbreaking losses within six months of each other in 2024.

Fans of the Hits Radio host will be aware that she recently announced the heartbreaking death of her and her fiance Gorka Marquez's beloved dog Ollie, which came just six months after the devastating loss of their other much-loved pooch, Norman.

Bury-born Gemma, 40, confirmed on December 10 that Ollie had been reunited with Norman, leaving her heartbroken. Sharing a video full of pictures and videos from over the years featuring Ollie as well as Norman, the Bury-born star wrote to her two million followers: "Sleep well beautiful Ollie..."

Now, having enjoyed the Christmas and New Year festivities, Gemma has opened up about the sign she believes she received about her two late dogs as she looked ahead to the future.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday (January 2), she shared a video of her and daughter Mia out in Manchetser's wintry weather and while the five-year-old was digging, Gemma was seen with her hand full of crystals. She explained: "New year. A fresh start and new beginnings.
