Gemma Atkinson shows off 'classy' new look 'for a bit' as she makes fresh start after double death heartbreak

It's out with old and in with the new for Gemma Atkinson as she showed off her gorgeous hair transformation. The Hits Radio host is looking ahead after facing heartbreak twice in 2024 and has started with a small but beautiful change to her look.

Gemma, 40, headed to the salon on Monday (January 13) and gave her fans and update on social media as she posted a picture to her Instagram Story and said: "New hair transformation going down @emilyrosemonkhair_."

The Bury-born TV and radio star then gave a glimpse of her new hairdo, again on her Instagram Stories, opting to post a video of herself sweeping her hands through her transformed glossy tresses while sitting back in the car and ready to get on with the rest of her day with her new swishy locks.

Alongside the clip, she wrote to her two million followers: "Team brunette for a bit." She went on to post an adorable picture of herself inside a salon alongside a trio of fluffy dogs.

She was beaming for the camera, while dressed in a mint green jumper and a pair of baggy blue jeans, as she cosied up to the perfectly sat pups and said: "Nelly, Bertie and Barney [red heart emoji]. One of the perks of going to Em's salon."

Meanwhile, in a separate video update as she headed to work on Hits Radio's Drivetime show, she revealed the surprise of her new look on Producer Matt and jokingly noted in the caption of the clip: "Sophisticated and classy. Everything I'm not," followed by a laughing face emoji.
