Gas Monkey Garage to sponsor FHO BMW at TT 2020

Gas Monkey Garage, the global leader in customized cars from Discovery Channel’s hit series Fast N’ Loud, will become the title sponsor of Peter Hickman and FHO Racing at the 2022 Isle of Man TT.

Headed by innovative entrepreneur Richard Rawlings, Gas Monkey Garage will utilise the platform of the world’s ultimate road race to spread the Gas Monkey influence and brand across the globe.

“The entire Gas Monkey family and I are ecstatic to be involved in this year’s Isle of Man TT. Getting the chance to be a part of the largest single viewed sporting event and the world’s longest standing time trials is a dream come true,” said Rawlings.

“We are honoured to be alongside the legendary FHO Racing, Team BMW, and the Fastest Man on Two Wheels, Peter Hickman, for a race that is surely to go down in the history books. We look forward to seeing Gas Monkey on the podium come May.”

Gas Monkey Garage will showcase the iconic 37.73-mile Mountain Course to a whole new audience via their social media platforms which boast a staggering 20+ million followers. The new partnership will see the Gas Monkey Garage logos and brand adorn outright lap record holder Hickman’s BMW M1000RR in the RST Superbike, Milwaukee Senior and RL360 Superstock Races at the TT, which makes its much anticipated return to the calendar after being absent in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With five wins and 14 podiums between 2017 and 2019, as well as the outright and Superstock lap records, 34-year old Hickman – who still holds the fastest Newcomer lap ever around the Mountain Course – will go into the meeting as the undoubted favourite for honours.
