Gary Neville launches furious rant at the Glazers as he makes Man Utd "graveyard" blast

Gary Neville has launched another blistering attack on the Glazer family - insisting that Manchester United has turned into a "graveyard" for players during their controversial premiership.

The Glazer family have been unpopular with fans ever since their takeover of the club was completed back in 2005. And Neville pulled no punches when it emerged earlier this week that the family were set to rake in around £11million in dividends; despite the fact that the club desperately need to sign reinforcements this summer and appear to be struggling to get deals over the line.

Neville urged the club hierarchy to shun the payments and instead plough the money back into the club. United's new boss, Erik ten Hag, needs all the backing he can get in the transfer market.

And Neville has launched his latest scathing rant at the Glazer family on Friday after it emerged that Christian Eriksen is mulling over offers from United and Brentford - indicating that he could opt to stay with the Londoners rather than move to Old Trafford.

Back in Neville's day, Manchester United had considerable pulling power and were, arguably, one of the premier destinations in European football. But their decline in recent years has been so significant that the allure of playing for the club has substantially waned.

Referencing the transfer tussle over Eriksen, Neville tweeted: "That’s why Dividends have to stop for a period. Every penny has to go back into the club until it becomes attractive again. The club has become a graveyard for players. Culturally for owners to take [money] out of a poorly performing business is demoralising!"
