Gary Neville Hilariously Tells Declan Rice That Wayne Rooney Called Him T-Bag For 'Years' And Does Incredible Impression

Theodore Bagwell, AKA T-Bag, was a white supremacist, murderer, paedophile and rapist who was housed at Fox River State Penitentiary in the hit 2005 TV show.

The villainous character, portrayed by Robert Knepper, appeared in all five seasons of Prison Break, the 2009 TV film The Final Break and a cameo in Breakout Kings.

T-Bag’s physical appearance has led to eerie comparisons with Neville, with the likes of Jamie Carragher and Piers Morgan firing cheeky digs on Twitter in the past.

When asked for his favourite TV programme, Rice responded: “Prison Break.”

Neville suggested Rice would poke fun at him over the iconic Prison Break character, but the West Ham star had no idea people called him T-Bag and burst out in laughter.

The Manchester United legend continued: “You’re gonna come up with the joke about me now, aren’t you? Do you know they call me T-Bag?”

Rice asked Neville if people actually called him T-Bag, which prompted the 46-year-old former England defender to point out Rooney used it as his nickname.

“Yeah! Rooney called me that for years,” Neville responded.

Rooney took to Twitter in 2012 and hilariously made it clear why former United and England teammate Neville was called T-Bag.

“We call [Gary Neville] T-Bag because he is a ringer of T-Bag in Prison Break. For everyone asking,” he tweeted.

Rice, 23, continued by showing his admiration for Knepper’s character, who was often a thorn in the side of Prison Break’s leading duo Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.
