Gary Neville claims to know who's behind 'disgusting' Man Utd leaks in Ralf Rangnick era

Manchester United are in turmoil for the umpteenth time this season.

Not only are the Red Devils failing to win on a consistent basis in the Premier League, but the entire atmosphere around the club has once again been sullied by worrying reports from the dressing room.

One of the latest reports from ESPN was amongst the most revealing with sources remarkably explaining that some players have compared Ralf Rangnick’s assistant coach, Chris Armas, to Ted Lasso.

Marry that to more reports about discontent under the new regime at Old Trafford than we could possibly count in one sitting and it’s fair to say that it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for United right now.

Besides, it’s seeming increasingly apparent that certain members of the United dressing room are contributing to these reports, which are ultimately damaging the credibility of Rangnick’s regime.

And while it’s hard to imagine that individual names would ever be made public, Gary Neville has indicated that the people behind the United leaks aren’t as secret as some might think they are.

That’s because the Red Devils legend revealed on his Sky podcast that he knows the identities of the individuals who are giving information to the media as part of a passionate speech on the topic.

Directly addressing the Lasso report, the 49-year-old said: “I didn’t find it funny at all the fact they were describing the number two of Ralf Rangnick as Ted Lasso, I didn’t find it funny at all, I found it disrespectful, disgusting. In fact, it summed up what I think of them that they are disrespectful.”

Neville then added: “I remember when I joined Sky and we had the Champions League in the early years, and I went over to Napoli to do a game involving Chelsea.
