Gary Lineker's one-word verdict perfectly sums up Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall goal vs Palace

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored his first Premier League goal at the weekend as he doubled Leicester City’s lead vs Crystal Palace.

The midfielder has quickly established himself as a key player in Brendan Rodgers ’ starting lineup since breaking into the team at the end of last year. The academy graduate has started the last 18 games in all competitions.

His latest start came in the Premier League clash against the Eagles, where he again stamped his mark on the game. Dewsbury-Hall set up Ademola Lookman for the opening goal in the 39th minute before turning on the edge of the box and finishing emphatically himself just six minutes later to make it 2-0.

It’s a goal that will live long in the memory of City fans as well as the player himself. And former City striker Gary Lineker has also shown his admiration for the goal with a one-word message.

Quoting a clip of the goal posted by City on Twitter, Lineker simply tweeted: "Beauty". It’s a verdict that is sure to be shared with fans who have watched the goal both live and on replay.

Dewsbury-Hall himself gave his reaction to the goal on social media after the game, writing ‘What. A. Feeling,” alongside a picture of him celebrating the strike. James Maddison also celebrated the goal by posting the lyrics of Dewsbury-Hall’s song that was ringing around the King Power Stadium after the goal.

The midfielder was praised by manager Brendan Rodgers following the game. “Kiernan was outstanding,” said Rodgers. “He’s a young player, since he’s come into the team, he’s everything that would represent a team of mine. He’s very honest, he’s got great industry, he runs, works, presses, and then he’s got quality.
