Gary Lineker has described Emile Smith Rowe's goal against Chelsea as 'an absolute beauty.'
The Gunners took the lead through Eddie Nketiah in the 13th minute at Stamford Bridge after the Hale End academy graduate capitalised on a mistake from Danish centre-back Andreas Christensen. However, the Blues quickly fired back through Timo Werner.
Werner took a long-range shot that deflected off Granit Xhaka, wrongfooting Aaron Ramsdale in between the posts. England international Emile Smith Rowe then restored the away side's lead with a sublime first-time finish following an inch-perfect pass from talented playmaker Martin Odegaard.
The goal clearly impressed former Tottenham Hotspur striker Lineker, who took to social media to praise Mikel Arteta's side. Writing on Twitter, he said: "Worth staying up for @BBCMOTD for @Arsenal’s 2nd goal. An absolute beauty."
Former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder Jamie Redknapp was also impressed by Arsenal's goal. Speaking during Sky Sports' coverage of the game, he said: "It is a lovely goal.
"(Rob) Holding takes a risk first then Granit Xhaka has nerves of steel there with that little nutmeg. Great movement from Odegaard to set up the move and then they (Arsenal) are moving.
"(Bukayo) Saka comes inside and spots that poss, and I think Ruben Loftus-Cheek switches off
