Gary Hurley drops down leaderboard in Thailand
Gary Hurley shot a disappointing three-over par 75 to end any hopes he had of challenging at the Thailand Classic at Amata Spring Country Club.
The Waterford man has posted a brilliant 67 on Friday to take him up to just outside the top 20, but he found the going much tougher in round three.
Hurley now sits on three-under-par, 15 shots behind leader Thorbjørn Olesen who was finishing his third round on Saturday morning.
Hurley's frustrating day was book-ended with dropped shots, a bogey at the first and a double bogey at 18.
The 16 holes in between proved a real up and down affair with four birdies and four bogeys recorded.
