Galway ease past Offaly to maintaining winning run

Galway maintained their 100% record in the Allianz League Division 2 this season with a fourth win in a row when they ousted Offaly by four points at Pearse Stadium.

Galway led by 1-08 to 1-06 at half-time, with Offaly finishing the half strongly to reduce the margin.

But Galway got on top after the restart and pulled away to keep their promotion drive firmly on track and leave Offaly looking for their first win of the campaign.
