Gallants secure vital point in relegation battle as they hold SuperSport United to goalless draw
The relegation battle in this year's DStv Premiership is going to go down to the wire, and on Tuesday, faced with a tough fixture against Gavin Hunt's SuperSport, Marumo Gallants secured a much-needed point in grafting out a 0-0 draw.

While the match might have ended goalless, both teams squandered excellent chances to win it late on.
The first came in the 79th minute when striker Bradley Grobler could only fire past the right-hand upright from just outside the small box.
Grobler had a chance to atone for his miss two minutes later when SuperSport were awarded a penalty after Olivier Touré handled in the Gallants box.
The striker, however, could only fire his spot kick high over the crossbar, much to the delight of Gallants' players.
Gallants then could have grabbed the win themselves, but Ricardo Goss, in the SuperSport goal, pulled off a brilliant save from Letsie Koapeng in stoppage time.
The draw means that Gallants are currently in 13th place on the league table, level on 28 points with Moroka Swallows. Chippa United (26 points and 15th) and Maritzburg United (24 points and 16th) are the two teams below them.
Maritzburg and Swallows have two games in hand over Gallants, however, while Chippa has one.
SuperSport are in second place on 44 points, one point clear of Orlando Pirates, who have a game in hand.
