Gabriel Jesus, Cole Palmer - Man City injury news and return dates vs Norwich

Manchester City have no fresh injury concerns for their Saturday afternoon clash with Norwich City (5.30pm).

Since returning from the international break, Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team have clocked up wins over free-scoring Championship opponents Fulham in the FA Cup and Brentford in the Premier League.

Both of those matches saw Gabriel Jesus and Academy graduate Cole Palmer missing through injury.

Guardiola will not be able to call upon them at Carrow Road, either, but the Spaniard is 'hopeful' Jesus will be back training and available for selection soon. He picked up a muscular problem while he was on international duty with Brazil last month.

As for Palmer, he has not featured since a coming-of-age display vs Swindon.

Heading into the second part of a hugely-important triple header, with Sporting Lisbon to come in the Champions League on Tuesday night, City are otherwise fighting fit against relegation-threatened Norwich.

What Guardiola has said: "Soon he [Jesus] will be ready. I spoke with him and he feels good, but he's not perfect with a few niggles, muscular. We have to be careful. Gabriel is coming back soon, hopefully."
