GAA wrap: Clare beat Wexford in Ennis, Kildare overcome Carlow
Wexford manager Keith Rossiter admits their chances of being promoted to Division One A of the Hurling League have probably slipped away.
Eight points from Peter Duggan helped 2024 All-Ireland champions Clare to overcome Wexford by 26-points to 1-20 in Ennis on Sunday afternoon.
That Clare victory has left the second promotion spot firmly in Dublin's hands; they will go up if they win at Carlow in two weeks.
Rossiter says playing in the second-flight has not been a bad thing, as he looks to build a new panel.
