'Full wind-up' - Man City fans love Ederson celebration after Erling Haaland goal against Arsenal
Manchester City supporters have reacted with glee after spotting how goalkeeper Ederson celebrated Erling Haaland's goal against Arsenal.
The City striker scored their fourth goal to complete a 4-1 victory over the Premier League leaders in the fifth minute of added time, finishing past Aaron Ramsdale after being assisted by late substitute Phil Foden. At the other end of the pitch, Ederson was stood alone inside the six-yard box, but that did not stop the Brazil international from marking the moment.
In footage filmed by a home supporter in the South Stand, the goalkeeper makes a 'cry-baby' gesture by contorting both hands into fists and waving them in front of his eyes in what appears to be the direction of the Arsenal supporters still in the stadium. Ederson continues, sticking his tongue out in that direction and walking back towards the City goal before circling back to stare while grinning with hands on hips.

The City goalkeeper had little to do during the match, making just one save during the 90 minutes from Granit Xhaka. The only other action for Ederson saw the shot-stopper diving in vain to deny Rob Holding's shot that briefly made the scores 3-1. Nine minutes after, Haaland scored a fourth, and the Brazilian celebrated in front of the South Stand.
Footage posted by Noisy Neighbors, the Twitter account of an American podcast about City, has been viewed over 100,000 times since being published soon after the match ended. Here is a selection of the social media reaction to Ederson's celebrations.
