Full list of people eligible for £600 DWP Winter Fuel Payment

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will soon begin paying out up to £600 to pensioners all across the UK.

Eligible people could get between £250 and £600 to go towards their heating bills. This will also include a Pensioner Cost of Living Payment which, on its own, can be between £150 and £300.

If a person is eligible for the payment, it will land in their bank account automatically which means they generally will not need to send in an application for it. Many households should have already begun receiving letters which will inform them of how much they will receive.

In order to be eligible for the Winter Fuel Payment, you must first have been born before September 25, 1957. Generally, you must also need to live in the UK, however, there are exceptions to this.
