Full list of Greater Manchester pubs where you can get a free pint - but only if you have one of these surnames
Fifteen Greater Manchester pubs are offering out a free drink to visitors throughout July - but only if they have one of 23 surnames. To celebrate the start of the Women’s Euros this week, Greene King is offering a free drink to any pub goer sharing their surname with a Lioness.
To claim the free drink, all customers have to do is show their photo ID at the bar during a live Euros England group game to prove that they share a family name with one of the England players.
Every England Women’s group stage match will be shown live across a number of Greene King managed sports pubs. Here’s who England are playing, and when, so you know when to pop to the pub for your free tipple.

The three group games take place on:
Wednesday, July 6, England v Austria, KO 20:00
Monday, July 11, England v Norway, KO, 20:00
Friday, July 15, Northern Ireland v England, KO 20:00
The freebie comes as a result of a survey that showed Brits are nearly three times more likely to have heard of a male England footballer than their female counterparts.
For example, the data showed that Manchester City and England fullback, Lucy Bronze, is the most well-known Lioness, but is known by less than a quarter (23%) of UK residents. In contrast, Harry Maguire is the most well-known male England star, with almost double (45%) of respondents recognising his name.
In order to show their support for the Lionesses and champion the individual profiles of the stars in the current squad, Greene King is offering a free pint, bottle of Ice Breaker Pale Ale or a soft drink alternative to any customers that have the same surname as a member of the England Women’s
