Full list of Boots and Iceland stores closing across UK this year

Boots locations all across the UK will shut down, as was announced earlier this year.

The pharmacy and beauty retailer announced earlier this year that 300 stores in total would close. However, employees affected by the closures would be offered alternative roles.

Meanwhile, Iceland is closing down some branches due to "local shopping patterns" while some "shop leases have expired". According to the supermarket chain's chairman, this is part of a normal procedure and "a small number of store closures happen every year," the Express reports.
