Frustrated ITV This Morning viewers complain over 'terrible' issue during Kate Garraway appearance

This Morning viewers were asking ITV to 'sort it out' as they tuned into the show on Thursday.

The latest edition of the daytime show, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, started at a later time than usual.

This Morning was on a few minutes later as a breaking ITV News bulletin aired straight after Lorraine Kelly's self-titled programme.

ITV's news team was giving viewers an update on the ongoing situation in Ukraine after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military invasion.

As Holly and Phil appeared to begin their show, which has been broken up with regular news bulletins from ITV News, they were joined by Kate Garraway.

The Good Morning Britain star was live in the studio to chat following her latest documentary, Caring for Derek, which aired on ITV earlier this week and followed Kate and her husband Derek Draper after he returned home from his year-long hospital stay.

The hour-long programme showed the moment the former Labour lobbyist gestured to hug his son for the first time and the family marking his 54th birthday.

It also featured Kate and Derek's trip to Mexico where he began potentially groundbreaking treatment.

But as Kate chatted about the reaction to the documentary and gave an update on Derek's current situation, This Morning viewers were left frustrated.

That's because they couldn't properly hear Holly and Phil's interview with Kate.
