From Sniper Shooting To Carrying Men On Back, Pakistan Cricketers' Army Training Has Fans Stunned

The Pakistan cricket team's intriguing training ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 has left fans on social media baffled. It was announced a few weeks ago that Babar Azam and his team will undergo military training to gain discipline and improve their fitness ahead of the marquee event. But, the type of drills that the Pakistan team has undergone during their training stint with the army has had fans on social media scratching their heads. In the videos that have surfaced on social media, a Pakistan player could be seen taking sniper shooting lessons from an army personnel. A few players could also be seen lifting other people on the back and running. Here are the videos:

Pakistan cricket, which often remains in a turmoil, is present battling the return of Babar Azam as skipper, with Shaheen Afridi being sacked as T20 captain after just one game. Some former cricketers have been quite critical of the Pakistan Cricket Board for the way the captaincy saga has been handled.

Shaheen was removed from the T20I captaincy last week after leading the Men in Green in just one series, which saw Pakistan lose 1-4 against New Zealand. The PCB reinstated Babar Azam as the skipper of the white ball format ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
